ID Diplomatic Halloween event

Halloween is a great excuse to put on an event. Whether you’re going all-out scary, or adding more subtle Halloween touches, there are so many different Halloween themes and ideas out there to be inspired by. And that's probably what inspired the hosts of the ID Diplomatic. So on the 4th November 2017 CityWise was once again the proud bloody partner of the Diplomatic Networking Event in Beijing, ID Diplomatic.

A very well attended and exciting Halloween event at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing, with more than 300 people signed up from all the embassies here in Beijing. Kempinski served us with delicious finger food, good wines and beverages. The DJ was filling the dance floor with great 90s songs and the sponsors treated the lucky ones with raffle prizes.

As one of the partners of the ID Diplomatic event, we welcomed the guests with a 'Trick or Treat' candy bag and of course a moment of vampire goosebumps.

Our international team - English/French/German/Swedish

It was great to see, that people were creative and spent obviously much time on their costumes. We had Captain America, a couple as a soap and sponge, we had several Maleficents, scarecrow, a mermaid and bunch of vampires like us.

Don't miss any of their events in future and sign up to be a member of the ID Diplomatic network and celebrate with us.

I try to give some practical advice but I also try to dispel some of the myths floating around about expat life. I'm a third culture kid as well so I try to share that experience and how it affects my life as an expat or living overseas.
This is my 14th year of being an expat in China and in all kind of forms - child, teenager, student, spouse and working.
